Review: Leslie went to the Scottish fest with the man that was becoming more friend and less boyfriend. She didn't expect to have such a commotion around her and the amulet that her grandmother handed down to her. When it ends up that she needs rescuing Scott MacPherson jumps at the chance to rush in and save the gorgeous red head that caught his attention. The results leave them not only fighting for Leslie's life but also trying to fight the hot smoldering attraction between them that is getting harder and harder to ignore.

Who doesn't love a hot man in a kilt........not me. This book was fabulous and not just because Nicole North manages to keep Scott in a kilt for most of the beginning of the book. I really liked this story and the idea behind it. Scott was really the perfect male hero and Leslie's actions and words sometimes had me laughing out loud as I read.

I would for sure purchase some more of Ms. North's books especially if they deal with more good looking Scottish men.

5 Delightful Divas from Dark Divas:
Wow, I can really get involved in stories with kilts and handsome scottish guys. Kilted Lover is a great story with love and romance to the max. Leslie couldn't resist Scott in his kilt and his sexy, take-no-prisoners way of taking care of her. She was threatened for her very old amulet and Scott came to her rescue, which just happened to put them together on his friend's houseboat. That's when there was some pretty scorching chemistry being put to use.

Both Leslie and Scott felt that her amulet had something to do with bringing them together. Did it? Take the wild ride of adventure and suspense in this fun, scottish romance. Nicole North is an author to watch. I enjoyed this story so much, I'm going to check out her first story for Red Sage,
Devil in a Kilt.

From Joyfully Reviewed: Spending time at the Scottish Games in Charleston, Leslie Levingston doesn't expect to be harassed over a necklace her grandmother had given her.  But that's exactly what happens, until a tall, sexy kilt wearing Scot intercedes.  While Leslie's boyfriend is off playing golf, Leslie is embarking on an adventure with Scott, the handsome Scot who ends up saving her life.  Neither one wants to be attracted to the other.  Leslie because she has a boyfriend and Scott because he knows she has a boyfriend and doesn't want to be the cause of a breakup.  The situation brings back memories of his own horrible breakup with his fiancé.  Yet fate has other plans for these two and Scott must keep Leslie alive and the necklace out of the hands of the thieves.  Their one night of passion opens up new doors for Scott and Leslie, but are they willing to walk through and accept what is waiting for them?
Kilted Lover has so many wonderful elements - the sexy man in a kilt, a car chase, and hot sex.  Nicole North's use of descriptive writing allowed me to easily picture in my mind what was happening and I truly wanted to be there.  She did a great job putting this story on paper.  I'll keep this story close at hand and look for more from Ms. North." ~Reviewed by Klarissa

Review from LASR-Whipped Cream: "Through Ms. North’s words, I quickly created an emotional link with most of the characters. For example, though Les, the main character seems a bit too innocent at times, it is an innocence which I couldn’t help find sweet and adorable. From empathy towards the main characters (the predicament they find themselves in is something which could happen to anyone), to dislike and pity towards others which seemed too perfect and yet were not, or humor towards those that tried to act like adventurous match-makers, I ran the gamut.

The novel is filled with comedy (those wild car rides and the friendly advice) as well as snippets of imagined erotism and finally, wild lust-filled sex that had me switching from a good laugh out loud to biting my nails in anticipation.

The ending of Kilted Lover sticks to the classic romance ending, but nonetheless the novel left me feeling sort of giggly and giddy and, of course, happy." ~Reviewed by Bittersweet

5 Hearts from The Romance Studio "Leslie Livingston plans to enjoy Charleston's Scottish Games when her Celtic amulet draws the attention of two thugs. Now she's being tossed over the shoulder of the kilted, virile man she'd been admiring earlier. Scott MacPherson can't stand back and let thieves attack the hot little red-head. Evading bullets he gets her to the safety and now that the danger has dialed down, the heat between them turns up. But will one night of erotic exploration be enough for them?
I loved this story! I can't say how much I enjoyed everything about this fantastic novella. In fact I've decided to do a little research and head out to some Highland Games this summer to find my own kilted hottie. Swift action made time fly by as I read -- suddenly I was sad to say good-bye to one of the sexiest heroes I've ever met. Scott is the perfect man, he rescues a damsel in distress from two armed bad-guys after effortlessly completing the cabertoss, all while wearing a kilt! Leslie is a refreshing mixture of goddess and good girl. This author is at the top of my must-read list, I hope she provides me with an endless supply of sexy Scottish studs."  Overall rating: 5 Hearts.

4 stars from JERR "Scott is a modern day man with old school chivalry that it a pleasure to see. Scott's determination to keep Les safe brings on a sexual chemistry that I didn't expect. The sexual acts between Scott and Les are hot, and they live up to Les' dreams of a sexual partner that leaves her satisfied. Kilted Lover  is a good book for a rainy day." L.T. Blue

Review from BookWenches! Review by BD Whitney: "Let’s admit it, ladies…there are few things more irresistible than a strong man in a kilt. That and the promise of a little humor are certainly what inspired me to pick up Nicole North’s novella Kilted Lover. This is a light and sexy read with an element of danger to it that keeps the action moving, and I found reading it an agreeable way to spend a few hours.

In this story, Ms. North gives us a hero and a heroine who are both entertaining and sympathetic. Leslie strikes a humorous chord from the beginning with her reaction to Scott, all but drooling over him at the Scottish Games, wondering if he wears underwear under his kilt, and daydreaming about the correlation between the size of his hands and feet and that of his sexual equipment. Scott is strong and passionate and wears a kilt the traditional way, much to Leslie’s delight. And he is just plain nice as well. What else can you ask for in a man?

The love scenes between Leslie and Scott are passionate and playful. Leslie has always been a “good girl,” and Scott brings out the assertive temptress in her. He also encourages her to indulge her kinky side as they watch their exhibitionist neighbors, and they have sex on just about every surface of the boat Scott is staying on...." Read more.
